MB records show this R107 series 280SL was built in December 1983 and it was first registered new in the UK in February 1984. The car remained in the UK for only a couple of years before moving to Jersey, where it was re-registered in July 1986. The current long-term owner acquired the vehicle in July 2007 with just 33,000 miles recorded at that time. It is believed the SL was in the hands of a single, careful owner prior to this point.
Starting, running and driving well, with the automatic gearbox changing smoothly. The car has recently had a major service with ourselves, which included a partial rebuild of the braking system, renewing front discs and caliper pistons/seals etc.
